Enactus

Enactus is an international non-profit organisation that brings together student, academic and business leaders who are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need.

Guided by academic advisors and business experts, the student leaders of Enactus create and implement community empowerment projects around the globe. The experience not only transforms lives, it helps students develop the kind of talent and perspective that are essential to leadership in an ever-more complicated and challenging world.

Enactus operates in 1,600 Universities across 38 countries. Currently we have a total of 62,000 students who have put 7,300,00 hours into running their Enactus teams and developing their projects

Enactus Sheffield

Enactus Sheffield is a student-run company that aims to empower the local and international communities through the positive power of social enterprise. We are made up of around 150 committed, dedicated and passionate students who go on to achieve great things, both within Enactus Sheffield and upon graduation.

In 2010 Enactus Sheffield won the Enactus National Competition and achieved a place in the semi-finals at the prestigious Enactus World Cup. In 2011, 2012 and 2013 Enactus Sheffield have placed second in the Competition and are proud to be one of the most consistently high performing teams in the country.
